Delivery Charges

Orders over £75 are delivered free of charge to mainland UK, via an insured carrier as explained below.

Any order below this value will incur a small £7.50 carriage charge per order. If the order is going to outside the mainland UK, please refer to the chart below:

  • Delivery Lead Times

    Most deliveries are made within 2-5 business days from ordering, provided you order before 4:00pm and take place on weekdays only (excluding public/bank holidays). Occasionally however, some items will be out of stock or have a longer lead time, and in these cases you will be notified via email after placing your order.

    This excludes any products where specifically stated will take longer, such as made-to-measure products: Silent Gliss products can take up to 10 business days from ordering and Alison Davies Design products can take up to 28 days. This also excludes off shore parts of the UK.

    Products ordered from different manufacturers may be delivered on separate days and times, by different couriers. We do not advise the booking of fitters until you have received delivery of the goods. 
  • Delivered By

    All deliveries are carried out by TNT,Tuffnells or TFS .
  • Delivery Addresses

      We can deliver your products anywhere in the UK. Upon ordering you can choose to deliver to:
    • Home address
    • Work address
    • Relative/friend's address We cannot deliver to a PO Box address.

  • Delivery Procedure

    • Our carrier will attempt to deliver on day 1 following despatch using the address on the parcels.
    • If there is no one in at the address then the driver should then rely on the telephone number to try to ascertain whether you have just popped out or whether they need to try to re-arrange delivery the following day.
    • If this is not successful the driver will leave a card and the goods will be taken back to the depot.
    • You will then need to contact the courier to re-arrange delivery for a time that suits you - or simply collect from their depot.
    • Please note that all of the carriers do require a signature and will not leave the goods without one.

  • Return & Exchanges

    If when you receive your product you find you wish to return it for whatever reason, we will be happy to collect the item(s) and refund you. All we ask is that you haven't fitted/used the product in any way so that it is in a resalable condition and return it within 28 days of receiving it. Any damages on delivery must be reported within 24 hours. Upon arranging collection for your item(s) we will raise a charge of £20 or 20% (whichever is greater) for restocking the product(s) and administration fee and any delivery charges (this fee is from our Suppliers not Pole Design), no matter how large your order is.

    Please note the refund only covers the cost of the goods and not any delivery charges that may have been incurred.

    Items that are made to measure (i.e. made from measurements you have given) or Advent designs (made to order) cannot be returned unless faulty.
