The Hallis Neo Gold End Cap 5-Sided Bay Window Curtain Pole Set is a complete kit for dressing a five-sided bay. The minimal End Cap finial finishes the pole flush and unobtrusively, the most pared-back option in the range and ideal where space around the bay is tight. In gold, a soft contemporary tone with a gentle metallic sheen, the kit brings warm, modern glamour to the bay. Built on the Neo range's heavier-gauge steel, the kit uses Hallis's dedicated bay pole system: solid diecast brackets, a centre bracket with a magnetic cover plate that slides neatly over the fixings, and corner joints that arrive straight and bend by hand to match the exact angle of your bay, up to 90 degrees.

Complete & Ready to Fit

Each kit includes the poles for your chosen overall length, four bendable corner joints, two end brackets, a centre bracket, four passing brackets to support the pole between the corners and a pair of End Cap finials. Choose the Regular option to add nylon-lined curtain rings at 10 per metre, or the Eyelet option if you are hanging eyelet curtains, which need no rings. Suitable Curtain Weights

The bay system performs at its best with eyelet curtains. As supplied, the kit carries eyelet curtains up to 10kg per pair on the 28mm pole and 12kg on the 35mm. Fitting an extra pair of end brackets raises this to 16kg on the 28mm pole and up to 30kg on the 35mm, depending on the angle of your bay, so we recommend adding them for heavier curtains. For curtains on rings, keep to lined or lighter fabrics; the nylon ring liners can be removed for smoother running around the bends, though this does increase noise.

Fitting Your Bay

The corner joints suit both gentle splayed bays and square 90-degree bays. Hallis recommends a maximum fitting height of 286cm for splayed bays and 230cm where the bends are a full 90 degrees. For the smoothest performance the centre pole is supplied as one continuous piece.

Eyelet Curtain Advice

For eyelet curtains, Hallis recommends 40mm eyelets on the 28mm pole and 50mm eyelets on the 35mm pole, without eyelet liners.
