The Hallis Neo Spun Brass Stud 5-Sided Bay Window Curtain Pole Set is a complete kit for a five-sided bay. The low-profile Stud finial keeps the pole ends neat and understated. Softly brushed spun brass adds a warm, antique-gold tone. It uses Hallis's dedicated bay pole system, with corner joints that arrive straight and bend by hand to match the angles of your bay, up to 90 degrees.
Complete & Ready to Fit
Sizes refer to the total length of the pole around the whole bay, all sides combined. Each kit includes the poles for your chosen length, four bendable corner joints, two end brackets, a centre bracket, four passing brackets to support the longer run and a pair of Stud finials. Choose the Regular option for C-shaped passing rings at 10 per metre, which run past the passing brackets, or the Eyelet option if you are hanging eyelet curtains. Each corner joint is 26cm long, so the kit will also suit bays measuring a little over the stated length. The What's included panel above shows the exact contents for each size. Suitable Curtain Weights
The bay system performs at its best with eyelet curtains. As supplied, the kit holds eyelet curtains up to 10kg per pair on the 28mm pole and 12kg on the 35mm; on rings, 8kg and 10kg. Adding an extra pair of end brackets raises this to 16kg on the 28mm pole and up to 30kg on the 35mm with eyelets, or up to 12kg and 22kg on rings, so we recommend them for heavier curtains. For heavy curtains, or the smoothest possible draw around a bay, a made-to-measure Silent Gliss Metropole is the better choice.
Fitting Your Bay
The corner joints suit both gentle splayed bays and square 90-degree bays. Hallis recommends a maximum fitting height of 286cm for splayed bays and 230cm where the bends are a full 90 degrees. Click here to download the fitting instructions in PDF format.

Eyelet Curtain Advice
For eyelet curtains, Hallis recommends 40mm eyelets on the 28mm pole and 50mm eyelets on the 35mm pole.
