The Silent Gliss 6970 is a heavy duty, hand-drawn curtain track in black, built for curtains that are too much for a standard track: interlined fabrics, long drops and wide spans. Instead of ordinary gliders it runs on roller gliders, so even the heaviest curtains draw smoothly by hand.
Key Features:
- Roller glider system: supplied with Silent Gliss 2C roller gliders at 10 per metre, in black to match the track. The what's included panel on this page shows the exact count for your chosen length.
- Complete set: rail cut to your length, roller gliders, top-fix ceiling clamps, end stops and end covers.
- Ceiling fix as standard: top-fix clamps are included. Wall brackets can be added from the More Options menu, or the track can be recessed into the ceiling with the optional recess profile for a completely flush finish.
- Wave compatible: choose 60mm or 80mm Wave roller gliders to pair the track with wave heading curtains.
- Bay windows: the track can be custom bent to your angles, with bends down to a 25cm radius.
- Made to measure: available in any length from 125cm to 600cm.
The 6970 is also available in anodised silver and white. If your curtains are medium weight rather than heavy, consider the Silent Gliss 6870, which comes in seven finishes including antique bronze and charcoal.

- Professional Review: Our window treatment experts will create a precise technical diagram which will be emailed to you for final review.
- Check the Design: It's essential that you thoroughly check the technical diagram as it's what we'll use for manufacturing. Please note that we are not liable for any inaccuracies, and refunds for 'made-to-measure' products are not possible.
- Manufacturing Process: The manufacturing of your product commences on the working day after you approve the technical diagram. This stage can take up to five working days.
- Packing and Shipping: Your custom-made item will be carefully packed in a custom-built wooden frame for protection and dispatched via a next-day service.
