The 7670 is the 38mm Metropole curtain pole with a motor mounted on the pole itself. Like every Metropole, it looks like a pole but works like a track: the curtains hang from gliders inside a hidden channel, so there are no rings to drag across the surface. The motor draws them with a soft, near silent glide.
Give the curtain a gentle tug and Touch & Go sets it in motion. Soft start and stop keeps the movement calm and protects the fabric. If the power fails, a manual override means the curtains still draw by hand. The motor handles curtains up to 45kg, which covers even long interlined curtains (fabrics with an additional layer sewn between the lining and face cloth).
Three ways to control it
The standard system connects to a hard-wired switch, or works by Touch & Go alone. Add the integral receiver to control the pole with Silent Gliss handsets and wall switches, the Move app, or directly through Matter smart home platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa. For professionally installed building control systems, choose the SMART module instead.
Every motorised pole needs power, and unlike most retailers the price here includes the power supply, so the pole arrives ready to wire in and fit.
Made to measure, straight or bent
Each pole is assembled to order at any length from 125cm to 600cm in taupe, straight or bent to suit corners, angled bays and gradual curves down to a 35cm radius, with up to two bends or a continuous curve per pole. Traditional pleated headings run on two-component roller gliders, with a soft component for silence and a hard component for stability. For Wave curtains, choose the 60mm or 80mm Wave gliders at no extra cost, or upgrade to Wave roller gliders for the smoothest running on wide or heavy curtains. When the pole is ordered in black or charcoal, the gliders are supplied in black to match.
Prefer to draw your curtains by hand? The Silent Gliss 7610 Metropole offers the same look without the motor.
